Getting a library card

  • In order to obtain a Linden Library Card, you must have identification and proof of residency.
  • A card is free to new patrons; however, if it is lost or stolen, there is a $3.00 replacement cost.
  • The card is valid for one year from the day of activation. Upon expiration, you will be asked to provide identification so that we may validate your card for another year

Senior ID
Current driver's license with an out-of-town address

1) The applicant is accompanied by a parent or guardian to verify residency as per the criteria listed above

*OR*

2) The applicant presents one item from Column A *and* one item from Column B

Children (Preschool - 6th grade)

1) You must be able to write your name

2) A parent or guardian must be present to verify residency as per the criteria listed above

3) A parent or guardian must sign both the library card application and the library card
