Rights in the Workplace Program

Please join us at the Linden Library on February 28th, 2018 at 7:00 pm for an Adult and Career Resource Seminar: Your Rights in the Workplace.  Most employees are unaware of the many recently added job protections available under New Jersey and federal law. This free seminar will cover many topics concerning your job and career and you will have the opportunity to ask a labor lawyer any questions you may have regarding: Sexual harassment, Unfair treatment on the job, Wrongful discharge, Discrimination, Employment contracts and performance reviews, Wages, salary, hours, overtime and compensation, Disability leave, pregnancy leave and health insurance, Severance pay and unemployment benefits, and Non-competition agreements.

Presenter Mitchell Schley is a labor and employment lawyer in East Brunswick, New Jersey, who has been practicing for over 25 years. He has prosecuted cases on behalf of employees with the National Labor Relations Board and has represented Fortune 500 corporations and now represents hourly, salaried, professional, and managerial employees regarding employment matters.
