Linden Public Library to Sponsor Women’s Program

To commemorate Women’s History Month, the Linden Public Library will sponsor a panel discussion on Pioneering Women in Business and Labor, which is this year’s theme. The program is entitled Successful Women in Business Today: Three Amazing Journeys as three successful Linden business women will discuss their experiences as entrepreneurs. Panelists will include Virginia Malik, business owner with Shop.Com; June Lazaro, regional leader for Primerica; and Mary Baker, proprietor and founder of Baker Tax and Accounting Services.

The program will be held on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Bernice Bedrick Room. The Linden Public Library is located at 31 East Henry Street in Linden. There is no admission charge for this program, which is recommended for general audiences, ages 12 and up. It is especially designed for girls and young women interested in pursuing a career in business. A question and answer session will be held following the presentation.
